About Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil
Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil is a botanical oil obtained from the nuts (seeds), stems, and leaves of Cupressus sempervirens.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty components obtained from the leaves, nuts, and stems of Cupressus sempervirens, it mixes better with oil than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to skin or hair, prevent the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming overly noticeable, and leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[3] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[2]
