About Corn Starch/Acrylamide/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer
Corn Starch/Acrylamide/Sodium Acrylate Copolymer is a polymer of corn starch, acrylamide, and sodium acrylate monomers.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together; form a thin film on the surface of skin, hair, or nails after application; and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to leave it smooth and well-groomed.[2] It is also used to hold the desired hair shape in place and help keep the formula's state and properties from changing easily during storage.[2]
