About Cera Alba

Cera Alba is a wax obtained from bees' honeycombs.[1] Because it is primarily composed of fatty components from the wax, it mixes better with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and to form a thin film on the surface of skin, hair, or nails after application.[2] It is also used to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[2]
