Cedrus Atlantica Bark Extract is an ingredient extracted from the bark of Cedrus atlantica.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of an ingredient and to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[4] In Korea, it cannot be used in cosmetics when it falls under oils and extracts with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L.[2] In Europe, only ingredients with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
