About Beeswax Acid

Beeswax Acid is an acid obtained by saponifying beeswax. It consists of straight-chain acids ranging from C24 to C36, with fatty components obtained from the seeds of Beeswax Acid as the main component, so it mixes better with oils than with water.[1] It is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities wash away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and help prevent the formula’s condition and properties from changing easily during storage.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so that raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
