About Adipic Acid/Methyl DEA Crosspolymer
Adipic Acid/Methyl DEA Crosspolymer is a copolymer of adipic acid and methyl diethanolamine cross-linked with glycerin and end-capped with coconut acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application; reduce tangling and roughness to leave hair smooth and neat; and leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to control the formula’s viscosity and flow.[2]
