About Acetylated Hydrogenated Castor Oil

Acetylated Hydrogenated Castor Oil is an acetyl ester of hydrolyzed castor oil.[1] Because its main components are fatty substances obtained from acetylated hydrogenated castor oil, it mixes better with oil than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the sensation of rapid moisture loss. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, and to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
