BiodanceCaviar PDRN Jelly Serum MistIt's a jelly-type mist that you use without shaking. It sprays pretty forcefully, so your face gets soaking wet. So I felt like it might be better not to use it after applying makeup. But the moisturized feeling lasts, so it's been really useful as a hydrating product. It's only about 50 ml, so honestly, I feel like the value for money might be kinda meh~.

COSRXThe Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care SerumI bought this because it contains lots of ingredients that seemed good for treating dullness! It's lightweight, and even I, whose skin is easily irritated by high-concentration ingredients, was able to use this serum. But I'm a little scared to use it every morning and night, so at the time of posting, I'm only using it in the morning. It feels light, so it seems like it would pair well with heavier skincare too. I haven't seen a dramatic change! But I do feel like my skin has been doing better, so with high hopes for the ingredients too, I want to repurchase it 🫶🏻

Clear TurnGomenne Suhada Mukumi-chan Eye SerumI first got this as a giveaway prize, and after trying it, it was so good that I bought it again. It's a serum you use after toner, and since it comes in a tube with a rollerball, it's super easy to apply. When I use it on eyes tired from looking at my phone or computer, I can massage them while applying the serum, so it's really convenient. And it's affordable too (about 1,380 yen online), which is exactly what you'd expect from Kose. Even when I'm short on time in the morning, I can quickly massage my eyes and reduce puffiness, so I definitely want everyone to try this.

CliniqueClarifying Lotion 2I love this exfoliating toner and keep repurchasing it. It's a little on the harsh side, but even with my sensitive skin, it's not enough to cause any irritation. I recommend soaking a cotton pad with it after washing your face and wiping your skin, since it removes more dirt and residue than usual. Also, when I'm short on time, I use this toner to quickly wipe my face as soon as I get home and remove my makeup and any dirt I picked up outside. It's not the recommended way to use it, but since it removes both makeup and dirt, I highly recommend it to anyone who finds it too much of a hassle to take their makeup off right after getting home!!

Retinol is the main ingredient, and it’s a little irritating for my sensitive skin, so I only use it at night every other day. It contains retinol and PDRN, so I mainly use it for my pore concerns. So in fall and winter, I focus on using it on my nose and the area around it, where my pores bother me. When I use this, it feels like it keeps my pores from opening all the way and nicely tightened them up for me, so I love using it.

I've been using it for years, and it's not very irritating, and I've never had any peeling from it, so it's an easy-to-use retinol serum. The downside is that the texture is rich, so it feels a little sticky, and it's hard to apply the next skincare product until this has absorbed. It's affordable too, so this is a serum I'd like to repurchase when I run out.

MEDI-PEELPremium Peptide Naite 1000 Neck StickI was curious about it because Hiro Odagiri recommended it, so I started using it. It's a compact solid balm, but I probably won't carry it around with me... I only use it for at-home care. It has a very rich texture and is fairly sticky, so it may not be for everyone. I think it's fine if you use it before bed. In my case, it gets itchy if I use it when my skin is sensitive, so I have to be a little careful about when I use it. As for the effect on my neck wrinkles, which is the main thing, I'm still not really sure... For now, I plan to keep using it until I finish one!

IPSAThe Time Reset Aqua LotionFor a department store cosmetic, I didn't feel like it was very moisturizing or special considering how expensive it is. MediCubePlacenta Vita SerumPlacenta serums are pretty rare, and since it also contains niacinamide, I thought it sounded like an appealing anti-aging serum. It has little capsules in it that melt right away as you work it into your skin. It feels light and non-sticky but still leaves my skin properly moisturized, so it's easy to use in the morning. I do feel like it plumps up my pores and makes them a little less noticeable, but honestly, I don't think it necessarily has to be this particular serum. It's easy to use—nothing particularly good or bad about it.

D'AlbaWhite Truffle First Spray SerumThis is the one that went super viral with claims like “Loved by flight attendants!” and it seems like everyone has it. The fragrance is stronger than high-end department store cosmetics. A few shakes blends it right away, and it’s easy to apply. I’d heard it can mess up your makeup if you use it after you’re done, but I was fine. It might smudge if you touch it before it dries. You could spray it before makeup, or maybe even partway through. I liked the scent and thought it was good, but when someone with combination skin that leans oily uses it, there’s a high chance of breaking out, so I probably won’t repurchase.

It might work well for some people, but... for sensitive, dehydrated oily skin, the oily feel and distinctive scent made it way too hard to get into. Still, it wasn't bad to use in the winter, and during the changing seasons, stopping right away made my skin feel less suffocated. It might be okay for dry skin..? I don't think people with oily skin really need to buy it.

VT CosmeticsVita-Light Reedle Shot 300Compared to the regular 300, it has a more watery texture and only a slight tingling sensation, so I think it's easy to use. I use it once every 2 or 3 days before applying a sheet mask, but it feels neither particularly good nor bad. Its role is to help the next skincare products absorb better, so I think it's doing its job as an unsung hero behind the scenes. I like Reedle Shot itself, so I plan to always keep one of the versions stocked, but I haven't particularly noticed any pore care or brightening effects from this alone.

This is just my personal experience, but I felt like the amount of acne I had gradually decreased too! Definitely repurchasing!!

But since it isn't sticky, it feels like a versatile cream you can use morning and night. One pump dispenses just the right amount, so unlike the oil, it's easy to use.

Blanc NatureMagic Tea Tree OilIt feels cool and refreshing when you apply it to your skin. When I put it on red pimples, I feel like they calm down faster than if I don't do anything. I tear off a piece of tissue, put the oil on it, and use it as a spot pack. Also, the cap is easier to open if you push it down and then twist it!
