  Madeca Vital Capsule Serum

3 monthsIt has a unique, slippery texture, and leaves my skin feeling smooth once I work it in! The botanical scent, kind of like tea leaves, is pretty strong, so I think people will either love it or hate it. Maybe it's the Madeca, but it seems good for soothing care when my skin is feeling sensitive✨ But the hydration is pretty average. It's not especially moisturizing, but I like how it leaves my skin feeling smooth and refined! I'm happy that it comes in a generous size, so I can use plenty♡ Rather than using it for intense hydration, I think this is a serum I'd reach for when I want to calm my skin down.

  Reedle Shot 1300

3 monthsSuper painful!!! I love Reedle Shot, so I kept trying them starting from 100, but yep, 1300 hurts lol 🎶 But that's the whole point, so I'm totally good with it ◎ The sensation is seriously intense, so I used just a tiny amount on the areas I was concerned about! I love how it makes my skin feel super taut~ But maybe 700 is enough T_T

  Advanced Clinicals

  Multi-Peptide Serum

6 monthsI was concerned about the fine, crepey lines under my eyes, so I bought this after trying the niacinamide serum from the same line. The texture is thick, and when you first apply it, it feels a little sticky, almost like it's clinging to your skin. After some time, it seems to absorb and the stickiness goes away, leaving my skin moisturized. It somehow makes me itchy if I use it when my seborrheic dermatitis is acting up, so I take a break from it then, but when my skin is doing well, I gently apply it under my eyes and to areas that look like they might become hollow or develop wrinkles. I really like how it feels. But it has a perfume-like scent, so be careful if you're sensitive to fragranced products.

  Advanced Clinicals

  5% Niacinamide Serum

6 monthsI was concerned about the fine lines under my eyes, so I decided to buy this. The texture isn't sticky, spreads well, and feels nice to use. I usually apply it under my eyes, of course, as well as between my eyebrows, along the bridge of my nose, and around where nasolabial folds form, since those areas seem prone to wrinkles, but when my seborrheic dermatitis flares up, I only apply it under my eyes. I feel like the area under my eyes looks plumper when I use it than when I don't, so I keep extras on hand.

  Dermaaid

  Triple Active Lotion

6 monthsI found out about this from a certain YouTuber's video and ended up buying it. I'd read reviews saying it smells like onions, and I can definitely smell a faint hint of that. But I'm pretty good at getting used to unusual smells in skincare, so it didn't really bother me. I feel like my dullness has improved a little and my skin looks brighter when I use it. As for dark spots and freckles... I'm not sure? I still can't really tell yet. It can be fairly irritating, so I take a break from using it when my skin is feeling sensitive. The texture is watery, and it feels light and refreshing to use.

  Hada Labo

Shirojyun Premium Medicated Penetrating Brightening Moist Toner

3 monthsI felt like Hada Labo didn't really agree with my skin when I used it before, but this Shirojyun was really good. I do feel like it brightens my skin tone. For my dry skin, it doesn't seem quite moisturizing enough for the middle of winter, so it seemed like it would be good until around October. It has a slightly thick texture and no fragrance. It spreads and absorbs into the skin well, and I have absolutely no complaints about how easy it is to use. It doesn't irritate my skin either, so there's a good chance I'll keep using it. Using the regular type in midsummer and the "Moist" type from around October seems like a good way to switch between them. There are refills too, and best of all, it's cheap! I've found another great product.

  ZO Skin Health

  Retinol Skin Brightener 0.5%

6 monthsThe concierge recommended it to me, so I bought the 0.5%. I thought I remembered using the 0.25% before too, but maybe I'm misremembering...? I bought the 0.5% around 4 or 5 years ago, when I had just started using ZO Skin Health, and I had quite a reaction to the vitamin A. Mainly redness and itching. Applying it all over my face made the itching too intense, so I only used it as a spot treatment on the areas that bothered me most. The scent is definitely unusual, but I think it's fine once you get used to it. I thought I wouldn't buy it again, but if I want something effective for dark spots and freckles + something that still causes a vitamin A reaction but is on the milder side (among ZO Skin Health products), I think the 0.5% is the one. This is an item I'm thinking of repurchasing for everyday use.

  MediCube

Ultra Light PDRN Pink Peptide Serum

3 monthsI got this ampoule from the same brand because I wanted to use it with my MediCube beauty device. I haven't used the original pink ampoule, so I can't compare them, but this one has a light, toner-like texture, just as the name suggests. It feels like it might not be moisturizing enough...? But surprisingly, that's not really the case. It's not sticky, so if I layer it on as much as I want, it leaves my skin feeling plump and bouncy. It's from the PDRN line, but I thought it was excellent more as a hydration care product than for firmness. I like how it feels, but if I want to use it generously, the value for money isn't great, so I won't repurchase.

  Dr.G

  R.E.D Blemish Clear Soothing Cream

3 monthsIt's a lightweight gel cream that's more suited for spring and summer. I use it for soothing, not moisturizing. I think a lot of people with mature skin might find this a little lacking in moisture... As for the soothing effect, it's seriously amazing. Every year when winter turns to spring, my skin gets pretty badly irritated (including from hay fever 😭), but thanks to this, it stayed calm the whole time! This was the first time my skin stayed stable without relying on medication from a dermatologist, so I trust it a lot. When your skin is in bad shape and your usual skincare stings or itches, you don't need to apply toner or anything else—I'd really like you to try using a generous amount of just this after washing your face, like a mask, and leave it on overnight.

  GD11

  Premium RX Balancing Toner

1 weekEven though it has a thicker texture, it doesn't feel sticky or just sit and slide around on my skin—it really feels like it's absorbing properly. So weird! It's non-irritating and leaves my skin moisturized, so I really like it.

  Curel

Sebum Trouble Care Moisture Facial Gel

1 monthGemini recommended this, so I bought it for seborrheic dermatitis. I'm glad it has an oil-free formula. The texture is a gel cream, but it feels fairly moisturizing, so I think it provides a good amount of hydration. It's been a huge help since I can use it morning and night. It's like a little skin-care security blanket that I want to use not only when I have seborrheic dermatitis, but also whenever my skin tends to get sensitive.

  KADASON

  Medicated Lotion

1 monthMaybe because of the birth control pills I'm taking, or maybe because my hormones are out of balance, I'm prone to seborrheic dermatitis. My face and scalp tend to get itchy, and I see a dermatologist too, but as for my face, it gets especially ticklish and itchy when I'm going to sleep... At my wit's end and desperate for help, I asked Gemini and found out about this. I immediately bought it online and have been using it since the day it arrived, and I think it's really good. It feels refreshing and isn't sticky, and compared to when it was at its worst, the itching has gotten a lot better. Of course it does flare up again, but it's completely different from before I knew about this. The reviews said the bottle is small and runs out quickly, but it doesn't bother me that much. I plan to keep repurchasing it.

  PDRN Reedle Shot Eye Lifter

1 year or moreThis is my second one🩵 The tip feels nice and cool, and the cream spreads well and absorbs easily, so it feels great to use⭕️ The tip vibrates, so it feels like a massage and is really nice🎶 It feels so good that I end up doing it for ages, so I use it when I have time as a relaxing massage💖 Of course I use it around my eyes, but also on the wrinkles between my eyebrows and on my forehead, and on my smile lines❣️ I use a pre-serum for the eye area from a certain brand, and during a skincare lesson I was told to work on smile lines from the bottom upward👂 I use this eye lifter the same way, lifting upward from the bottom when using it on my smile lines or between my eyebrows❣️ The same goes for creams and serums🎶 Twice every day makes 730 times a year—when it all adds up, that's a scary number, isn't it?😱 I make a point of applying from the bottom upward, rather than from the top downward💖 Please give it a try🫶

  ZO Skin Health

  Daily Power Defense

1 year or moreWhen I first bought ZO Skin Health, this was one of the items the concierge recommended to me. I remember buying it about twice, but honestly, I personally couldn't tell what it was supposed to do. It's not particularly moisturizing, and it doesn't have any standout feature that makes it a must-have... I sometimes see people raving about it on social media, but as someone who's actually used it, I'm just like, "?" When I mentioned this to a doctor at the clinic, they said Daily Power Defense is recommended as "preventative anti-aging" for people in their 20s and younger, but isn't suited for care targeting dark spots, freckles, and aging from your 30s onward. That makes sense. It isn't moisturizing enough for winter, and I didn't find it particularly beneficial for targeting concerns from your 30s onward, so I won't repurchase.

  Micro Bubble Serum

1 year or moreThe serum you'll regret cheating on with other serums 🫧 The light, bubbly foam feels gentle and so nice 💕 Such a glossy finish 🎶 Even with makeup on, I feel like my skin has a glow from within 💖 The foam is fluffy, soft, and super fine, so it sticks around for a while even after you spread it on ✨ The fluffiness somehow makes me feel gentler too, and when I spread it on, the fluffy foam glides over my skin with no friction 🎶 The finish is glossy after using it too, so it's fun to look in the mirror ❣️ I recommended it to a friend, and she liked it so much she's a repeat buyer now ❣️ I'm sooo happy 🫶 My best friend and I use the same one 💖

  Biodance

  Liposome Bubble Booster

3 monthsIt's an unusual toner that comes out as foam, but honestly, I kind of wonder if it really needs to be foamy? The foam is pretty watery, and if I try to apply it directly from the pump to my face, it drips, so it's a little tricky to use. If you ask whether it absorbs especially well, I'd say it's average. But I don't dislike it! It feels fresh and hydrating, like I'm replenishing my skin with moisture, and I like how my skin looks glowy after blending it in ✨ The finish is nice, but I didn't really feel like there were many benefits unique to the foam format.

The Vita-A Retinal Shot Tightening Booster

1 monthBought this because I was worried about the fine lines under my eyes and the wrinkles on my neck! It's been a month since I started using it, and my skin is now smooth and looks beautifully soft like a peeled egg! I also use it for the dark spots on my hands. I'm seriously on my third tube!🩵

  Berry Berry TXA Toning Mist

1 weekThe keychain design makes it easy to carry around and cute, which caught my eye💕 But it didn't wow me enough to think, “It has to be this one!” I preferred my usual super-viral milky mist because it did a better job of preventing dryness🥺

  D'Alba

  White Truffle First Spray Serum

1 year or moreThis has been my favorite mist for years❕ Before makeup, during makeup, as a finishing touch, or when I'm out It's great in every situation, and even though I use all kinds of mists, this always ends up being my top pick🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ D'Alba smells great too◎ It does focus more on glow than dryness prevention, so it might not be for you if you're like, “I want to prevent dryness! I can't handle strong scents!” but if you're after better makeup application and glow, I feel like this is the bestᐡ｡• ·̫ •｡ᐡ

  SK-II

  Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner

6 monthsMy mom was a longtime SK-II user, so it had always been around me since I was a teenager. I would use some of my mom's Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, or use the samples that came as a freebie when I bought toner, but there really is a difference in how well the skincare I use next absorbs and how smooth my skin feels depending on whether I use it or not, so I bought the large size. I've tried all kinds of cleansing toners, but this is the one I always end up coming back to. The scent isn't as distinctive as the toner either, so I think it's easy to use. It doesn't irritate my skin, so I can use it daily, which is another thing I like about it.
