It feels a little squeaky when used on dry hair, so whether it's morning or night, I'd recommend using it on wet hair. VT CosmeticsPDRN Reedle Shot Brush Hair SerumAt first, I used it after getting out of the bath, once I'd towel-dried my hair. It felt refreshing, and the massage felt nice too, but I was bothered by how it felt a little sticky when I blow-dried my hair 💦 After a lot of trial and error, 【Using it in the shower】turned out to be the best timing for me‼️ After rinsing everything out, I comb my hair with a wide-tooth comb, then massage from my hairline to my part while dispensing plenty of serum 💆♀️ I really work it in with my hands, massaging it so it gets down to the roots. lol Partway through, I switch the serum OFF and just keep combing (You can rinse it a little with warm water here too 🙆♀️) and then when I get out of the bath, it feels really fresh, cool, and nice 👍 This might not be how the brand intended it to be used, but I've kept using it this way and have been able to see results, so... If you're concerned about stickiness or the hygiene of the comb part, definitely try using it in the shower!

The texture is quite thick. I used it when it came in a bottle, and it did get harder to squeeze out when it was running low. But it really did feel like it was nourishing my hair, and I was happy with how it felt!

Maybe the ingredients agreed with me, because it didn't irritate my scalp, and it felt like it left my scalp refreshed and balanced✨ I used the whole John Masters Organics line, from shampoo and conditioner to leave-in products, and I definitely recommend using them together!

Moroccan BeautyHydro Repair Hair TreatmentI use it together with Moroccan Beauty's shampoo and hair milk! I kept using this because I like that the conditioner isn't too heavy, and the Prism Rose scent is sweet and tangy without being overpowering. Personally, I really like how the shampoo feels when washing my hair, so I used this along with it. As a conditioner, rather than it being amazing, I think I'd like to use it together with the shampoo while adding another hair treatment. I like Moroccan Beauty's shampoo, so I want to repurchase it!

Moroccan BeautyHydro Repair ShampooEven a small amount lathers well, making it really pleasant to shampoo with. I liked using it by working up lots of lather and massaging my scalp! It leaves my hair feeling cleaner than the other shampoos I used before, but also makes it more manageable, so I’m thinking of buying it again. I also use the conditioner and hair milk from the same brand!

Moroccan BeautyDeep Moist Hybrid Hair MilkI absolutely loved the lively prism rose scent! The rose isn't too strong, and the fragrance has a sweet-tart quality to it. Since it's a hair milk, it doesn't feel too heavy when applied to my hair, and it keeps my hair nicely under control. Personally, I think it's great to use as an extra step in addition to hair oil!

It's a non-lathering cream, so I worry that my hair isn't getting clean, but if I spread it evenly and massage it in, my hair feels refreshed after washing. Plus, the scent lasts until the next day, so I'm surrounded by a lovely fragrance!

FIOLEQualucia Color Shampoo PurpleI've been keeping my hair bleached and high-tone, so I bought this to combat brassiness! My hair has been bleached a different number of times depending on the area, with some parts unbleached, some bleached once, and some twice. When I actually tried it, looking at the photos I thought, "Is that it?" but in person, I felt like it really toned down the brassiness and gave me a more subdued color. The lighter sections that have been bleached multiple times in particular pick up the color really well. I've also used Milbon Color Gadget Milk Tea Greige and Schwarzkopf Goodbye Yellow as purple shampoos before. I liked Milbon's elegant finished color, but considering the price, it was hard to keep using, and I personally found its ability to tone down brassiness a little lacking. Goodbye Yellow deposits color really well, but I felt like it was too intense for me, and I didn't like the finished look. FIOLE falls somewhere in between, so it was easy to use for me because I want to tone down brassiness well but avoid the color getting too intense. It's around 2,000 yen and you get a good amount, so out of the purple shampoos I've used, I also like the balance between the price and the results. I want to keep using it as long as I keep my hair high-tone!

Schwarzkopf ProfessionalFibreplex No.4 Bond SerumThis is a must-have for my bangs and the little wispy hairs on the sides! My bangs and the hair on the sides are totally fried from aging, coloring, gray coverage, and daily flat ironing, but when I work this through my hair before blow-drying, it brings them back to life. It makes my hair feel softer and adds shine, making it look nice and healthy. It also feels better to the touch and gets rid of tangles, so I'd like to use it all over my head, but the scent is a little strong, so I only use it on certain areas. It has a sweet scent. Even though the scent isn't my favorite, I haven't found anything else that can replace it so far, so this is the ultimate product. I'd seriously be lost without it.

I still have plenty of shampoo and treatment left, so I was looking for something I could add to my routine when I found the samples. A set of four was only 308 yen, so I gave them a try. My hair is bleached, high-tone, and prone to dryness. I tried mixing this into the treatment I normally use, and I was surprised that my dry, frizz-prone hair felt more moisturized and manageable than usual. I've tried all sorts of shampoos, treatments, hair milks, and so on, but in my case, I noticed a bigger difference in how my hair felt when I added this to my usual treatment than when I switched out those products. I liked it so much that I bought the full size 😂 I also love that I can just mix it into my usual treatment, so I don't have to replace my entire current hair care routine. This was a huge win for me since my high-tone hair tends to get dry and frizzy!

ReFaLock Oil LightReFa's popular Lock Oil Light, the one in the yellow bottle! It's a hair oil I absolutely love because it keeps my hair from getting dry and frizzy without weighing it down too much, leaving it naturally sleek and shiny. I work it into my hair before styling in the morning, then finish by scrunching it mainly into the ends. It makes the flat iron glide through more easily and makes styling simple. It's not very sticky, and I love how natural the finish looks without making it seem like I'm trying too hard! I usually wear my hair straight or with a single curl, so I don't find it inconvenient, but I'd rate the hold as so-so. When I go out with my hair curled, it starts to fall out after about an hour, but it still falls nicely. The Lock Oil in the orange bottle was heavy and didn't suit my hair type, but Lock Oil Light was easy to use and worked well for me. I'd recommend this hair oil to anyone who doesn't like stickiness or wants a lightweight finish.

You only need to mix a small amount into your usual treatment, so it’s convenient that you don’t have to completely switch to a new one. The official recommended ratio is your usual treatment to this product = 5:1. Since you only use a small amount each time, I use it every day, but after two months I still have more than half left. I have bleached long hair and worry about dryness and frizz, but on the days I mix this in, my hair feels nicer to the touch, so it’s become a favorite. You just add it to your usual treatment, so it’s easy to incorporate into your daily hair care routine. That said, the original pouch was a little hard to use 😂 It was awkward for me since I wanted to dispense a small amount every day, so now I transfer it to a different container. You only use a small amount, so it lasts forever, and all you have to do is add it to your usual treatment. I want to repurchase it when I run out!

MujiPlant Fermentation Liquid Head ScrubI use this with a scalp brush for scalp care two or three times a week. After thoroughly wetting my scalp during the pre-rinse before shampooing, I work it in. You can feel the scrub particles, but they aren't too harsh, and it feels nice when I use it with a scalp brush as if I'm giving myself a massage. When rinsing it out, there is a slight squeaky feeling that's typical of scrubs, but once I've finished shampooing and conditioning, I don't notice any roughness in my hair. Shampoo lathers up really well afterward, so on hair care days, I add this extra step and switch up the scent depending on my mood to relax. It's 200g and reasonably priced, so I also love how easy it is to incorporate into my routine as a scalp treatment two or three times a week. It's an easy-to-use product that adds an extra massage-like step before my usual shampoo.

KaoMelt Moist Conditioning WaterMy hair is on the thicker side and the ends tend to get dry, so I used the moist type. It really does live up to being called a toner for your hair, with a very watery, runny texture. It makes my hair sooo silky, and I can run my fingers right through it. It was hard to tell if it added shine since my dark hair is already pretty shiny, but the ends of my hair looked more put-together. There's just one downside: the scent is very strong. I wasn't a fan because the sweet, perfume-like scent lasts through the night💦 By the next day, it's faded to a light scent, so it doesn't particularly bother me. I liked how it felt to use, so I'm planning to try another line as well. I think people who like strong, sweet scents will love it!
