Tout VertRetino Shot 0.1I wanted to incorporate retinol into my routine, so I started using it in early fall! But in my case, the dryness from the changing seasons overlapped with the dryness from using retinol, and it was difficult to keep using it on my face. While repeating “stop for a while → start again once my skin is back to normal” several times, before I knew it, more than three months had passed since I opened it. Plus, I had stored it at room temperature, so I gave up on continuing to use it on my face 😭 Now I don't want it to go to waste, so I'm using it on my hands as a luxurious hand cream 😂 I really did want to incorporate retinol into my routine, so I'm genuinely disappointed that I couldn't use it on my face until the end. Rather than the product being bad, maybe starting it in fall and winter just wasn't the right timing for me, since my skin is thin and prone to dryness. If I try retinol again, I'd like to introduce it much more carefully during a time when my skin is stable.

Dr.GR.E.D Blemish Clear Soothing CreamI fell in love with this after receiving it as a gifted product before, so I bought the cream again 😌 I used this on my body! I also use body milks and creams, but this felt more moisturizing, so even though it's meant for the face, I used it generously. lol I have too many creams, so I'm taking a break from it for now 🌱

Blanc NatureSnail & Cica Repair CreamI suddenly started getting one pimple after another around my mouth, so I decided to give this a try. It's not medication, so it's not like this will cure them, but I like that I can apply it right over my existing pimples and still get plenty of moisture, and that it doesn't cause new pimples with excess oil. I thought it might be a little expensive, but since it's not something you have to apply all over your face (you can, but I only use it on the areas that bother me), I think it's pretty good value for money!

Mary & MaySpicule Retinol PDRN CreamA cream with spicules × retinol* × PDRN, perfect for nighttime skincare 🆗 When you apply the cream to your skin, it has a unique, slightly prickly feel 🪡 After blending it into my skin, it did feel moisturized!
-
TorridenDive-In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Acid CreamFor a moisturizing cream, I think it's not too heavy, feels smooth, and glides right into the skin! I can easily moisturize my neck as well as my face, and it's not sticky or scented (*´ω`*) I thought it would be a light cream, but after applying it, I feel like my skin is nice and plump (^^) The dry season is coming up, so I plan to keep using it!

AnuaRetinol Gua Sha CreamThe built-in gua sha is convenient, but it falls a little short🥹 I'd been curious about it since it first launched, and thought collagen × retinol sounded like it'd be good for wrinkles and firmness! So I bought it from the official store. The cream is pretty rich and thick. It feels like it adheres well, and I use it in my nighttime skincare routine◎ But the container is also really stiff and hard to squeeze😂 There's only one small opening, so it takes forever for the cream to come out, which is low-key frustrating.... The built-in gua sha is convenient, but the curve is pretty pronounced. I wanted it to follow the wrinkles on my neck, but it didn't fit me very well, and I found it easier to use along my jawline. Hmm, if you already own a gua sha, maybe you don't need to go out of your way to get this all-in-one version? I like the idea, so I'd be happy if the container and curve were a little easier to use!

AnuaRetinol Gua Sha Cream
I bought it because of the hype, and it was actually pretty good! You can use the gua sha to drain your lymphatic system, so it kills two birds with one stone and feels refreshing. Using it before makeup makes my face feel a little more sculpted, which is nice. The cream is rich, but it spreads well, so it's easy to use. Even though it's retinol, I didn't feel much irritation. I'm not sure people who already own a gua sha really need this specifically, but I didn't have one, so it was nice being able to apply the cream & massage without using my hands.

S.NATUREAqua Squalane Moisturizing CreamPerfect as a morning cream! Also recommended for combination and oily skin when you want something light at night! Moisturizing cream
-
SkinfoodLemongrass Niacinamide 10% CreamThe texture feels a little heavy, but once you put it on your skin, it just melts right in, making it perfect for nighttime care 💯 Even if you hate how sticky creams feel in the summer, you can use this without worrying about stickiness!! 🌿 Apparently it’s recommended for people with thin, dehydrated skin! Using the whole line seems like it would be effective, so I’ll use it together with the mask 🫶

COSRXThe Ceramide Skin Barrier MoisturizerThe cream I'm obsessed with right now It has a light texture but still feels moisturizing, which I like It seemed to suit my skin type (dry, sensitive skin) from the moment I started using it, and I was able to use it without any stinging My favorite tube-type cream right now

Anua3 Ceramide Panthenol Moisture Barrier CreamIt's hard to find a cream that works for my dry, sensitive skin, and I repurchased this three times. Then it suddenly started stinging, so I had to stop using it. I liked that the tube made it easy to dispense the right amount and that it spread well.

DECENCIAWhite Spike VC CreamA must-have for fall and winter I love that I can use it even with sensitive, dry skin It’s incredibly moisturizing, so I’m happy that my face isn’t dry in the morning even when I apply it at night It has a rich, heavy texture, so if you have dry, sensitive skin, I definitely want you to try it I might not recommend it for combination or oily skin

ONEOHOHJacho PDRN Herbal Decoction CreamWhat I love is the combination of gromwell root × PDRN × panthenol. The cream is a pale purple and contains ingredients derived from gromwell root. It's also easy to incorporate into your moisturizing routine when your skin is feeling sensitive💜 With the essence → cream 2-step routine from the same line, it keeps skin moisturized after treatments when it's prone to dryness. I actually tried it on my skin after Juvelook, and found it easy to use when I felt like, "Since I'm in the downtime period, I want to moisturize thoroughly without overdoing it!" If you're looking for skincare to use after cosmetic treatments, or a moisturizing product for when your skin is feeling sensitive, this is a line I'd recommend checking out too🤍

VT CosmeticsPeptide Reedle S CreamI started using VT Cosmetics' new Reedle cream that finally landed at Daiso in Japan, so here's a texture report 📝 This time it's the Peptide Reedle S Cream for anti-aging care 💜 It feels lightweight enough to use in the morning and isn't very sticky ◎ I don't think I feel any tingling at all(?) Great for first-time users or anyone who's not too keen on the pain~ 👍🏻 Easy to use 💭

LactifulMoist Up MilkA new product from Yakult, of all companies, so I bought it with high hopes! The texture feels like a pretty standard, easy-to-use milky lotion. It glides on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I like how my skin feels bouncy and plump the next morning when I work it into my nighttime skincare routine before bed◎ And this smells delicious 😂 Kind of like Yakult, or maybe fermented? Like sweet gum? I can't explain it very well, but I actually like it quite a bit lol The cute little rounded bottle is adorable too, and there's just something appealing about skincare from Yakult. So far, there's nothing in particular that bothers me, and it was simply an easy-to-use milky lotion Would repurchase: Yes ○

AesturaAtobarrier 365 CreamI have thin, dry skin, and especially in fall and winter, when I apply it as a sleeping mask before bed, my skin stays thoroughly moisturized until the next morning. It really helps me get through fall and winter, so I keep repurchasing it 🔁 It spreads easily and I don't notice any fragrance, so it's easy to use.

JUMISORetinal 0.1 PDRN 5000 CreamI get a really intense retinoid reaction. But I definitely feel like it works. I started getting a mole? or some kind of dark pigmentation on my arm, and after applying this morning and night, it peeled and then disappeared. I also apply it to the wrinkles on my neck, but it causes quite a bit of redness and itching, so I use it once a week, or sometimes wait two weeks depending on how my skin is doing. So far, I haven't seen any noticeable effect on the wrinkles. The pigmentation on my face also seems maybe slightly lighter from using it just on those areas...? But I do feel like it promotes skin turnover more than other products. I'd recommend it to people who want to see results even if they get a full-on retinoid reaction! But I think people with sensitive skin should avoid it.
