Shu UemuraUltime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil nThis has long been the go-to luxury cleansing oil, and I totally get why it's stayed so popular. It removes makeup thoroughly, and my skin doesn't feel tight afterward.

BeplainMung Bean pH-Balanced Cleansing FoamIt didn't really feel like it was removing any dirt, and somehow it just felt like a nothing face wash 😢

AlbionInfinesse Deep Suction Cleansing MilkI bought this with high hopes because I love Albion and it's a cleansing milk. I have thin skin that's prone to redness, and cleansing products can easily throw my skin off, so I usually tend to choose milk types. But this just didn't work for my skin🥲 I thought "cleansing milk = seems like it'd be gentle on the skin," but in my case, it sometimes felt irritating while I was using it, and it was especially hard to use when my skin was acting up. I've always liked Albion skincare itself, but I won't be repurchasing this. I gave up partway through and gave it to my mom (sob) Infinesse is a line I want to like, but another serum from the line irritated my skin too, so maybe it just isn't very compatible with my skin. If being gentle on the skin is the top priority, I overwhelmingly preferred the cleansing milks from M-mark and Minon.

CovermarkTreatment Cleansing MilkI bought this hoping it would be gentle on my skin, but in terms of gentleness, it wasn't quite right for me. I bought it during a period when I couldn't find the right cleanser and was looking for "a gentle milk cleanser." I have thin skin that's prone to redness, and changing cleansers in particular tends to affect my skin's condition. I started using Covermark with pretty high expectations, but it didn't feel as non-irritating as I'd expected on my skin. I can use it when my skin is in its usual condition, but it can feel irritating when my skin is unstable, such as during seasonal changes. It wasn't that I disliked how it felt to use, but being able to use a cleanser "even on days when my skin is in bad condition" is very important to me, so I won't repurchase. Milk cleansers from Minon and M-mark worked better for me.

FREBITSGrind Vita Cleansing BalmAt first glance, it looks like a cleansing balm in a jar, but it's actually a twist-up product that doesn't require a spatula, which is incredibly convenient. You can dispense just the amount you need and use it right away, so I love that there's no hassle of having to get a spatula or getting balm under my nails. It's also hygienic and easy to use ◎ As for how it performs, it blends well with makeup and is easy to use if you're wearing light makeup, but on days when I'm wearing heavier makeup, it doesn't seem to remove everything completely in one go. It still feels like a little makeup is left behind after rinsing, so personally, I felt that double cleansing leaves my skin feeling cleaner. Rather than using it to “remove everything with just this one product” on full-makeup days, I think it's better suited for people who want something quick and easy to use on light-makeup days. I really like how easy it is to use, with no spatula needed and the twist-up design. I think it's a great option for people who want to use a cleansing balm but find jars annoying to deal with. The convenience of being able to cleanse smoothly every time was a definite plus ◎

BifestaMicellar Eye Makeup RemoverI've repurchased this several times. I soak a cotton pad with plenty of the liquid and place it on my skin, and the makeup just glides right off. There's no need to rub, so I think it's gentle on the skin. It removes mascara cleanly too. I was bothered by leftover glitter from eyeshadow and lingering lip color, so I use this in addition to my cleanser. It's easy to pick up at drugstores and reasonably priced, so I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to remove their makeup thoroughly without putting too much stress on their skin. You need to shake it before use, so keep that in mind! Skin type ↓ Dry skin/sensitive skin/formerly had atopic dermatitis/thin skin

KindStepTea Tree Sebum-Clearing Gel Cleansing OilThis cleanser changes from gel → oil → milk, and it's the warming type, so it blends in easily and removed my makeup really well too! I think WP mascara might be a bit too much for it. It removed foundation and glitter with no problem. The same brand also makes a pore brush, and if you use it in little circles around your nose and chin while cleansing, it makes your skin feel really smooth and makes the rough texture much less noticeable, so I recommend using them together ₍ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ₎ It removes sebum really thoroughly, so I think it might leave your skin feeling tight if you have dry skin. I have combination skin, so it didn't particularly bother me.

NumbuzinNo.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Cleansing OilBought it because I heard it was like cleansing with a serum! It's good for my skin, but I feel like I have to be really thorough to get all my makeup off. I used this after gently wiping with cleansing water on a cotton pad and using eye makeup remover. Honestly, it adds an extra step, so I think I'd rather use something that removes makeup more thoroughly. Recommended if you wear light makeup!

CelladixTriple Retinol Wash PeelThis is one of those products where you won't see noticeable results unless you keep using it consistently, but... Since it's a peel, right after using it, the unevenness of my pores is reduced and my skin feels refreshed. I use it about three times a week at night after washing my face. After using this, I recommend combining a booster serum with pore-tightening skincare! I have keratin-clogged pores, so I'm planning to keep at it consistently while also treating my blackheads!

NumbuzinNo.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Cleansing Oil
Honestly, I didn't feel like it was all that different from cleansing oils from well-known Japanese brands sold at drugstores(^^;; It emulsified well and did a good job removing makeup from the little hard-to-reach areas too. But I think you might need to go over it twice to remove eye makeup! I prefer cleansing balms, but those are my thoughts as a woman who tried an oil again for the first time in a while🙂↕️

IhadaMoisturizing Milk Face WashSince I naturally have dry skin, I used to skip washing my face in the morning year-round and use toner pads or a morning face mask instead. I was drawn to the words “milk face wash” at the drugstore and bought it, and when I first tried it at night, my skin didn’t feel tight at all! Since it’s gentle on the skin, I was a little worried about its cleansing power, so I started using it as my morning face wash the next day. It seems to have been just right for my dry skin, and I used it almost every morning, mainly during the colder months from fall through winter. Personally, I’d repurchase it. I used other products in the spring and summer, but I think I’ll go back to the Moisturizing Milk Face Wash again🧴

SabonFace PolisherThis time I bought Sabon's Face Polisher Refreshing (Mint) ¥5,060 (tax included) 200mL It's pricey, but the packaging is cute too. Mint is recommended for the morning It smells like mint, but it isn't too strong, so it's easy to use. The “Face Polisher Refreshing” has the scent of freshly picked mint. It feels pleasantly refreshing and freshens you right up, so apparently it's especially recommended for washing your face in the morning!!! Apparently there are other scents too, but I went with mint this time! Removes dirt Exfoliates Doesn't strip away moisture Balances moisture and oil Pore care I'm happy because these are all beneficial. Moisturizes for smooth, silky skin The moisturizing effects of mineral-rich Dead Sea salt*4 and Jericho rose*5 replenish the skin with moisture, leaving it soft and smooth. It balances the skin's moisture and oil levels, leaving it free from roughness and shine so makeup goes on well. I tend to worry about shine myself, so I'm grateful for this product. It has a vegan formula*6 made with carefully selected naturally derived ingredients. *4 Sea salt (skin conditioning) *5 Anastatica hierochuntica extract (moisturizing) *6 No animal-derived ingredients used I like minty things, and this has such a fresh, refreshing mint scent that makes me so happy. Thinking, I'm gonna use this today! helps me get up even though I'm not a morning person Probably lol. The texture is smooth and soft, kind of like butter at room temperature or a soft hair treatment. When rinsing it off after scrubbing, it feels unbelievably smooth, moisturized, and hard to even describe!!! It keeps my skin moisturized, so that's a plus◎ It also removes dead skin, leaving my skin silky smooth, and my makeup goes on well the next day!!◎ I think it would also be good to use during the hot summer. It moisturizes and keeps my skin warm, so I want to repurchase!! It does have a slight cooling sensation, but it doesn't sting, so it's easy to use

OrbisThe Cleansing OilI'm currently on my third bottle! (The photo shows the second bottle after I used it up✨) It's too harsh for me to use every day and actually makes my skin more prone to irritation, so I use it on days when I wear a full base (days when I layer base products or wear foundation). What I love most about this product is how quickly it emulsifies🫶🏻 I'll repurchase it again when I run out!

OrbisThe Cleansing Oil
This cleansing oil is easy to use. It removes makeup well, and it doesn't feel weird or leave my skin feeling tight! This level of quality at this price is such a lifesaver 👍🏻 If you're not sure which cleansing oil to get, this is one I definitely want you to try!

CelimaxThe Real Noni Acne Bubble CleanserThis type of container runs out pretty quickly, but having it come out as foam is so convenient, and I like how refreshed my skin feels after washing I always use it when I get acne Easy for guys to use too

Shu UemuraUltime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil n
It takes everything off without leaving my skin feeling tight! I loooove it, but anyway, it's expensive! It looks like you can save money and get samples with a subscription, so if I buy it again, I might subscribe.

TorridenDive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing FoamI started using it with a value set that came with a foaming net. The foam you make with the net is super fine and dense, so it gently clings to your skin and leaves it feeling nice and clean. There's no unpleasant smell, and I think it's easy to use for any skin type! Since it's 50 ml, it was a good size for trying it out, but I'd repurchase 👍

CurelRich Mousse Facial Wash[Features] ・Carbonated foaming face wash that changes from foam to gel ・Targets dullness caused by sebum and other impurities ・Cleanses while protecting ceramides, an essential component of the skin ・Contains the active ingredient dipotassium glycyrrhizate ・A gentle formula designed with dry, sensitive skin in mind What I wanted from an aerosol carbonated foaming face wash was something that would target [dullness]. But since my dullness is caused by poor circulation, unfortunately I didn't notice any results...🥲 On the other hand, since it contains ceramides and dipotassium glycyrrhizate, I was glad that I could use it without irritating my skin, and that its gentle formula designed with dry, sensitive skin in mind made me feel comfortable using it.

Chant A CharmCleansing Milk aA cleanser I've gone through so many bottles of I've lost count After getting pregnant, everything I used would sting, and I came across this when I was struggling to choose skincare products. I've been relying on it ever since. It's the type that transforms from a cleansing milk into an oil, and I love that it removes makeup thoroughly too. It contains ceramides and feels gentle when cleansing. Recommended for anyone whose skin tends to become sensitive but still wants to remove makeup thoroughly. I also love that the scent changes with the seasons. I can enjoy the fragrance while using it, and it's a favorite I never get tired of.

NumbuzinNo.3 Bifida Bakuchiol Zero Pore Cleansing Oil
I bought this because it was getting a lot of buzz online. A thick cleansing oil. It spreads well and is easy to work all over my face. It removes my everyday makeup thoroughly with no issues. True to its name as a serum cleanser, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, and my skin feels nice and smooth.
