  I often use cleansing water before cleansing to wipe off most of my makeup, but this one is a hard no for me🥲 It doesn't remove my makeup, and honestly it doesn't feel that different from wiping my face with a tissue dampened with water. Did they prioritize skincare benefits over cleansing power? But then again, I didn't notice any particular skincare or soothing effects either, so honestly, it does nothing😭 It's a large bottle and good value for money, but I probably won't buy it again...

  Double Layering Cleansing Water

  This is a favorite of mine that I've repurchased many times. Since it's a two-layer formula with oil, it feels like you get the best of both cleansing oil and a wipe-off cleanser, and it thoroughly removes even heavy eye makeup. However, it does inevitably leave an oily feeling after wiping, so rather than using this and calling it done, I use it more as a pre-cleanse before cleansing or washing my face.

  Ultra-High-Pressure Vitamin C Derivative Cleansing Water

  This is a versatile cleansing water that removes makeup and can also be used in place of a face wash. I soaked a cotton pad with it and used it to cleanse my face in the morning. I don't like splashing my face with water, so this was really useful. It has that characteristic vitamin C scent, which I also like. It's not sticky at all and feels as light as water. I'm considering buying it again, and above all, it's great value for money. It's cheap even though you get 500 ml. You can buy it at Matsumoto Kiyoshi.
